The strainer (supplied loose) is fitted on the incoming mains after the isolating valve. the connection to the store is then made. In this installation we used soldered fittings on most pipework, mainly for rigidity. To speed up the installation considerably, Tectite push-fit fittings can be used, and also allow some flexibility at the joints, often making pipework easer. Of course, plastic pipe can also be used if desired. |
