The mains water system and pipework can now be tested. The cold mains should be turned on slowly. If there is distant new pipework that needs testing always have someone else watching and ready to shout if there is a problem. Once all pipework is pressurised there should be no more sound of water flow. If there is then there is probably a tap still open - turn off and check. |
