Space is often the limiting factor when deciding
upon a hot water system. Without a free cupboard space to fit a hot water
cylinder, the choice of systems which can be installed is very limited. In cases where there is not enough space for a cold water tank, the choice is limited to that of a combination boiler, providing annoyingly low flow rates of hot water, and only able to supply one tap at a time. | No cold storage tanks are needed, with the unit running directly off the mains water supply. This does not mean that the unit is pressurised - in fact the Heat Bank Thermal Store storage tank is vented to atmosphere and under very little pressure, allowing it to be made as a square tank, making use of all the available space. This is not possible with other types of mains water storage systems as the store is under pressure and hence needs to be made as a cylinder. | ||
