As designers and manufacturers of hot water cylinders, we at DPS have often been made aware by installers and users of the irritation that can be caused by noisy electrical immersion heaters, especially when used on overnight economy tariffs.

To avoid this, the new DPS Low Watt Density Immersion Heater has been designed to provide silent electrical heating for hot water storage cylinders & tanks. The coiled heating element utilizes a much larger surface area for heating than standard heaters, with the result that surface temperatures are lower. Any 'kettling' noises during heating are avoided, and the life of the heater in increased.

The heaters still provide a full 3kW of output, and can bring water up to boiling temperature if required.

For additional electrical safety and thermal efficiency, the heater is fitted with a strong non-conductive plastic cover.

The heaters are fitted with thermostat pockets and can be supplied with control thermostats if required.
