PUMPS |
There is often a need to increase the pressure of water supplies. As it is illegal to pump the mains directly (at a reasonable flow rate), most pump systems are based around a cold storage tank that acts as both storage, and an air-break to prevent reverse suction from mains. With cold water storage present, it is simply a matter of choosing a pump large enough to meet your requirements. The simplest and cheapest pump, and also silent, is the Home Booster UPA. This is a simple and inexpensive solution to boosting the performance of a shower or tap. From there upwards we have a series of single pumps and sets suitable for whole house supply, and finally a series of twin pump-sets for applications where pump failure must not cause a loss of water supply. For the majority of our systems we use Calpeda pumps, although Grundfos pumps are also available.
