Under-Floor / Radiator
Stowaway Heat Bank
for Sealed System Boilers

The store acts as a buffer between the boiler and the heating system. The two cylinder stats (set at 55 and 75°C) ensure that once the store has been fully heated to 75°C, the boiler will not fire again until the lower half of the store has dropped to 55°C. While the boiler is off, the heating circuit draws heat from the lower half of the store, via the coil.  This system overcomes any boiler cycling due to low loads on the heating.  The use of two pumps in this way removes the need for any motorised valves.

The unit is meant to work in conjunction with a system boiler, where the pump, and sealed system components, are fitted in the boiler.  Sealed system controls can be fitted to unit upon request.  The unit can be optionally supplied with 2/3 channel programmer and room thermostat, or programmable room thermostat, to run U/F and radiators (separately if required).
