11 Users Instructions
11.1 The Heat Bank Thermal Store Unit should be set up by the installer according to the instructions given in the Installation and Commissioning Instructions.
11.2 Your Heat Bank Thermal Store is wired to heat up using an economy rate electricity tariff, with all electricity used by the unit at low charge rates. This will be operated automatically to heat up stored water, providing the electrical supplies are turned on.
11.3 When the unit is hot, it will provide both hot water and central heating.  The unit will also continue to provide central heating for up to 2 hours, while the economy electricity supply is interrupted or unavailable.
11.4 The unit is fitted with a Mixcall III Thermostatic Blending Valve, to control the hot water temperature, and prevent scalding.

Control Knob Position Min 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Max
Outlet Temp. (°C) 27 32 38 44 49 53 58 63 67
11.5 Please not that under certain circumstances, increasing the flow rate of water from a tap or shower may result in the water temperature dropping. Likewise, reducing the flow rate will result in the temperature increasing - the temperature will not increase above the setting of the Thermostatic Blending Valve.
11.6

The central heating is controlled by the use of the time clock fitted to the front of the unit, as shown here.

The timer can be set to Off, Timed or Constant operation.  When Timed, the clips on the outer ring are used to indicate heating times.  Alter to suit your personal requirements.
