Sometimes it is advantageous to
pre-assemble pipework and control assemblies.
Some of the reasons why are as follows:
1. Ensures correct assembly
of components to a set and documented design.
2. Components can be fully tested, electrically &
mechanically before installation, greatly reducing site call-backs to
service fault controls.
3. The use of space can be minimised, while still ensuring
access to all components for servicing.
4. Time on site is greatly reduced, saving labour costs.
5. Installers do not need to do very little other than
pipework connections, reducing training costs.
6. Allows easy removal and replacement of all controls by
swapping over boards. Controls can then be checked and serviced
off site as part of any regular maintenance requirements.
Controls than can be specified include:
Isolating Valves
Motorised Valves
Pumps, with isolating unions
Balancing Valves
Regulating Valves
Mixing / Thermostatic Valves
Strainers
Plate Heat Exchangers
Test Points
Wiring Centres
Casing to hide all components
Hose Connections to Board
Timeclocks and Programmers
In fact, just about any control from any quality manufacturer can be
specified, although with a great deal of experience we can also advise
on those we like most.
The optional use of plate heat exchangers allows central heating systems
to be isolated from boiler systems, thereby avoiding
cross-contamination. It also allows boards to provide mains
pressure hot water.
Our range of boards is closely related to
our range of BoilerMaster
systems.
